Nautical Adventures Scuba collaborates with Scouts across the state to support BSA and GS programs. Our Scuba Diving Merit Badge Program is designed to teach youth in alignment with the values and goals of your Scout Troop. We’re proud to offer Scouts an exciting scuba diving experience that fosters personal development and achievement.

What to Expect
Scouts will:

• Learn first aid for diving-related injuries and illnesses.
• Identify conditions for performing CPR and demonstrate the correct technique.
• Discuss the Scuba Diver's Code and its importance for diver safety.
• Earn an Open Water Diver Certification.
• Understand what ecosystems are and describe four aquatic ecosystems divers may encounter.
• Explore career opportunities in the scuba industry.

​Note: Completion of the Swimming Merit Badge is required before participating in this program.
