Certified in 1992 at age 16, Jansen took a “brief” break from diving – just a couple of decades – and came back in 2024 like he never left. Since then, he’s been making up for lost bottom time and logging dives faster than his dive computer can keep up.  He’s got a soft spot for nurse sharks, a major crush on rays, and a talent for finding the only spot on the reef with zero current (usually by accident).
